Wearing your Sling

The Unity Baby Sling can be worn with Newborn and Toddler

Each sling comes with instructions on how to use it.

Newborn Position

This position must feel similar for baby as when it was resting snuggled in mothers belly. The baby lies against the front of the belly and chest. Held so close to your body, baby feels your heart beat, hears your talking and feels the warmth of your body. Baby can tuck their head into toward your chest to sleep in the dark, or look out to safely view the world around it. You can also, breast feed baby while in the sling, and use the sling for privacy .

Once you have tried it a few times, getting baby in and out of the sling is a very simple, fast and convenient way for your to get around and do things while holding baby close to you. Hang the washing out, do the grocery shopping, walk down the street, socialise.....

Bascially, you just rest baby on your shoulder & then open the pouch and place baby into the sling, by cradling the baby with your arm and lowering in. Head is up by shoulder, feet down by waist. More detailed instructions are given with each sling purchase.

Older Baby and Toddler - Seated Position

You can use the Unity Baby Sling to carry your child in this position for a good two or three years - if you really want to!

The pouch of the sling is pulled apart so that the sling acts as a seat that will comfortably hold your child, while sitting against your hip, stomach or back. The edges of the sling have a small amount of padding on them so that the sling is extra comfy.

The sling can be pulled up so that the child is snuggled all the way up to its neck, or the child can have its arms free, while the sling sits around its waist and back.
